To attach a file to your post you either need to upload a file from your computer or you need a link.
Since we usually upload images in our posts, I will explain how an image is uploaded.
To get a screenshot follow the steps given HERE (http://www.gamershood.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6433).
Now it's time to upload the image to your post.
Follow the steps given below.
1. Go advanced.
2. Scroll a little to the "Additional Options" and click on the "Manage Attachments" tab.

3. A new window will open. To open this window you can even click on the paperclip as seen in the image below.

4. You have two options

First box - "Upload File From Your Computer".
Click "browse" and select an image file from your computer. Then click upload.
Note - Uploading a .bmp file can sometimes be a problem.
Second box - "Upload file for a URL".
For this you need to provide a link in the box.
For eg - http://dl9.glitter-graphics.net/pub/327/327419mpo0lg23bj.gif
Then click upload.
Make sure the url is a valid link and has an extension of .gif, .jpeg, .jpg.

5. Once the image is attached you will see the file names above the "Manage Attachments" tab.

* This means that you images are uploaded and attached to your post. Submit the reply. Remember that maximum of 5 files are allowed in a single post.
* If you have uploaded 5 images in your post then your post will look like THIS (http://www.gamershood.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37637&postcount=1)
Don't like the white border around the 5 images??? Here is a way to get rid of it.
Click on the paper clip. Upload images like I have said earlier. Click on the paperclip again and insert the image that you want.
You can align the image in center, left and right.
Select [attach]123[attach] and click the center, left or right tab.
Use THIS (http://www.gamershood.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5298) this thread for testing images.
