I've made it to the witch's cottage and collected a stick looking thing and a syringe. Went to the water village and collected the nector from the flower but cant go any further. How do I get back to the forest to get the other ingredient?

It has happend 2 or 3 times already, and everyone in a different point.
Once or twice in the intersection of casttle and forest, and another one when talking to chiefe (is it right?). My operation sistem is XP home edition

Hmmm... that's strange since Windows XP should be okay. This game has been tested many times with different pc's and I myself work with XP, too. Up to now none of the tests showed crashes. Do you remember if you clicked on something when it happend and what exactly the error message was?

You have to click on the dialogue text to proceed. If you did this, the dwarf told you to pass between the 2 cottages behind him. So click the spot behind him between the 2 cottages to walk.

Windows XP, by reputation, has glitch problems. That is why this version was not out very long. I had it too and had my computer rebuilt to get rid of it because it was so bad. The problems you are having remind me of the issues I had when I had it. XP sucks! I am sorry ya got stuck with that version.

btw I loved this game I thought I think it hasa really cute story. It was a fun challenge!

OneBun, thank you for your ideas. However, for the software I use, the program creator said that XP was the most suitable for it. As I have contact per email with this player (since I think that individual technical problems don't belong to this thread), we are about to find out the cause. And it seems to have to do with the media (music) player that this person uses. I'm just about to find it out with the help of people who know this software very well, they should know if there are problems caused by a particular media/music player. I'm sure we can sort this problem out. Be assured that I'm taking care of this problem :-)

Yeah the people that rebuilt my computer have a pretty good knowledge about the XP version too. There really are problems with it. They even showed me some examples of it when I took my computer in. First you have to add the ingredients in the correct order into the kettle and boil them. After you get a message that you have boiled them and can fill the bottle with the magical fluid, try to use the same object again on something that looks hot as you used for reading the book.

also, I'm having another strange problem in that when I try to run it, a popup comes up saying that my display is set to large font and that this runs best on small font and won't work properly on large fonts and suggests I change it, but I don't have a small fonts setting for my display and when I play the game, it makes itself into a larger box and sometimes the images move around. I wonder if the problem is related more to how they programmed the game because I don't remember getting this error with a game and most games should automatically adjust to the font size or font size of the display doesn't affect the game.

Hi smjjames. I programmed the game but I don't know exactly why you experience this problem. Most people don't have any problems, now I know 2 of maybe 100 people who have a problem. I'm in contact with the person who made the program that I use, I will ask about this problem, too. Glad I know it.
Still I hope that the game is enjoyable even with these strange things. :-)

If you need to go back, go outside the hut of the witch and click the bottom middle of the screen. Then you fly back to the scientist's place.

Actually, a 3 month old computer should not crash or glitch out in basic programs like mine did. It had nothing to do w/ "updates" which I am consistent about. It was found, by the company I bought my compter at, that there really was a problem. After I sent my warrentied computer back TWICE and they agreed there was an XP problem, and claimed to fix it both times. The third time I finally took it somewhere else to someone I know and trust well and had it rebuilt. Today, ever since my problems = nada! I even do updates. I'm not in the slightest way computer ignorant! btw I use a laptop too. I find my regular PC annoying. I like the mobility of having my laptop go everywhere with me (and therefore so does GamersHood!).

Anyway, it sounds like your problem is either resolution or that you need to default your fonts.

"Feuerhaken" is a rabble that the witch uses to arrange wood in the fire.

First you have to put the ingredients in the correct order into the cattle. When it says that the magic fluid is ready to be filled into the bottle, try to search in the left bottom corner (but you can't take it with your hands because it is hidden in a "hot" place, so try to use something).

Mistery, I got a problem with the game. (Or is it just me?). After the night of sleep in the colony and the breakfast, I go the see the forest ghost to get the letter with the seal (witch he got from the castle gost). The forest ghost apears, but say nothing and don't give me the letter back, nothing. Then automaticly I return to the road pointers. If I go to the castel I get licked out again, because I lost the letter AGAIN. If I go the the forest I meet the same dwarfs with the same story and the same questions. Or do I only have to reloaded the game?

Nice music and graffics again.

I wanted to uninstal this game of my computer to download it again, but I can't. I got the following message:

Fault: messases File "C:\Program files\Dwarf land adventure\unins000.msg"
is missing. Please correct the problem or abtain a new copy of the program.

Have you any idea how I could correct this problem? I never had this problem before.

I tried that once, but I coudn't downloaded again. I don't know why anymore. I try it a copple times more and let to know (by mail) if I succeed.

However, I have no idea where to get these other items you speak of, i.e. nectar, mushroom, and i've tried going to the right and left and, well, it just doesn't let me go right or left. Completely Confused.
