I am not sure but I think the six square things are direction options. However, I dunno if this game has a serious language barrier :S Looks like it. Is it possible to finish without knowing the language? :?

Ran through some rooms .. I'll check back. Maybe someone will have let us know which square is for what. Bottom middle seems to be for stay put *grin* but as soon as you click on anything in the room the 6 squares pop back up. Need one for "examine" maybe.

Weird game!!

All I know for now is that the lower right button brings you to the hallway. Looks like you can choose rooms from there.
For the other 5 boxes: no clue at all. It doesn't matter which one I choose, after 1 click in the room, it brings them all back.

Why do the Japanese people always write an English header in the beginning of a game where the only language in the game is Japanese?
