Look closer at the top of the birdcage for a key and then use it on the pink cabinet door, inside are the hat and thongs

You don't select anything in the game. Once you have it you can open the closet door.

I can't open that thing. I even restarted. The last two items I need are in there so I guess it's a glitch.

You should be able to unless you haven't done something else first. Have you tried eating all the cake on the table? And zoom in on every spot. There are quite a few that you can zoom in on but nothing is there to take.

knw wht? before going to the beach i jst restarted the game to see whether blue button works in the carpet if some items are missing but it didn't may be it work diff. each time not sure ... .. blue button in upper middle of carpet(slightly right) ...

there is NO blue button. (only proof I will except is a screengrab showing it)

brain -- there is a blue button. when the mouse walks over and just stands there...click to the left of him...upper right of the carpet. it's there. i promise. i can't press it tho still! :(

edit: POP im out -- i was expecting it to actually move -- so ididnt try to open the door again.

This is for folks having trouble finding the hotspot. You just need to click on it, it doesn't actually move. But if you have your sound on you will hear a small click.
