I think the symbols have to with the keys you are supposed to hit on the piano but other than that have no ideas. Anyone figured this out?

I dont get it either...Ive looked everywhere and I am clueless. Thought the symbols were a play on what note to play on the piano, but theres already been a post saying they dont relate. Thought it might be the clock, but no, not enough number of keys. *shrug* Im stuck..

to get to the next part, you have to spell 'cabbage' on the piano keys...they go in this order:

correction, I just did :) the symbols resemble the alphabet, you just have to rearrange them to form a word

This is what stumped the other forum, too.
Look CAREFULLY at all five symbols. You may want to write them down in paint or something.

5 symbols, 5 blank spaces...Anyone making a connection here?

Can anyone open the chest in the piano? I've tried...PIANO, PAPER, FRUIT, COUCH, GREEN, PAINT, CLOCK, CRACK CHEST, PRINT, CLUES and CHILD. Nothing worked so far.
Also tried ARROW. I must be on the wrong track altogether.

I don't understand shadowdancers piano key thing (post #12)- lists 7 letters for it but piano has 8 keys and 2 are broken..I am confused!

Yes, the word is
BONES.
You only need to use 5 different keys.
C, A, B, G, and E.
A and B are repeated.

Sorry, it's a long time ago that I played it. So I don't remember how the piano looks like. But for the keys in general:

The blue letters are the key names. The red numbers are the order in which you play them.

to open chest in the piano, look at your letters and you can see the symbols are N,B,O, and E. If you arrange those letters you spell BONE. Add the S to the end while spelling it. And when you spell BONES on the chest, You find a key and your're done!
