oh wait...look at the bookshelf.

if you really want the answer...
see the stacked books? look at the colors from the top down, connect the wires in that order

finished...good thing the owner doesn't sue, maybe a sequel would be escaping the court...:)

Lol good idea! I actually might use that...

Of course, it's going to have to be harder than this one. Waaaayyyy too many people said this one was too easy.

Click on the lights. Watch how they blink. See any patterns?

Oh, and the batteries are just really small.

I can't find the batteries. Could anyone post where they are for me? Someone mentioned something to do with a poster...
I can't find a poster. Sorry, I am really rubbish at these games!

So far, I have solved the light puzzle (thanks for the flashing pattern tip!) and collected: the four wires, clock, electrical tape, black plastic case and the straps. I had other items but I have already used them.

Edit: I have done it :)
Thanks for the various tips people have put down. I thought I would post a walkthrough incase anyone was interested in one.

- Pick up the key infront of you

- Click the arrows at the side until you reach the book case

- On the top shelf, where there is a stack of books going (from top to bottom) blue, green, yellow, red, there is a small blue dot. Click on that. Also, take a note of the coloured books and their order.

- In the same scene, click on the light at the top. Click on the four wires.

- Click the arrows until you reach the frame with the chest in the right hand side. Click the blue ball and the key. Open the chest.

- Click inside the chest until you have taken two items, the plastic case and the straps.

- In the same scene as the chest, in the left hand corner, there are batteries.

- Pan round to the frame with the brown board and the 'lights'. Click the lights. Take a note of the number of times they flash. Highlight the following text if you can't be bothered and just want to know... 'yellow, purple, red, green, blue'.

- Once it has 'split' grab the clock and the electrical tape.

- Move to the door. Click on the straps and they will then attach to the door. Then click on the plastic case. This will also attach itself. Click on the door.

- Once inside the 'revealed room/space' click on the clock and then the batteries.

- Remember the coloured books from earlier? They tell you the order the wires go in. Once they have been inserted, use the electrical tape to secure them. Then click the green button.

- Click the hole.

Your out.
I hope that helped :P

You mean the part with the clicking the lights? If so, have you tried the order that is mentioned in the walkthrough (you must highlight it).

Somehow cant seem to load game it comes with error message "Failed to initialize drawing surfaces. Please check your graphics card meet the minimum requirements and your drivers are up to date - if your graphics card has little memory try switching it to a lower resolution." Any ideas I have a fairly new pc!

Well I have no idea but Sconrad08 had the same problem, see here:
http://gamershood.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1299

I know the creator of these games and I can ask him about this and tell him to post in the thread that I have given above.

NicWalker

Thanks Mistery! Did you get your new game finished?

Mistery
04-24-2006, 09:02 PM
Welcome, I just sent him a message and asked him to post in the thread that I have announced above. But I don't know when he will read my message, so please be patient, he will inform there.

Game: I finished my recent one "Escape from the Hall" on April 22nd. So don't ask me to finish the next one within two days (I got a job and family beside from creating games...).
But I'm already working on the next one.

We use different game making software so your pc doesn't like games made with the other software...
Fortunately you find on GamersHood plenty of games to choose from :-)

Hey, I'm not sure if this is it or not, but installing the latest version of DirectX might fix the "Failed to initialize drawing surfaces" error. Try that and see.
