The solution to #10 uses both the source and the title of the page.
In the source code, the clue is /harold/ - indicating another part of the path for the solution. The level that comes after the Mario-style blocks is clouds. So the complete url should change from http://www.utu.yoyo.pl/17479.html to http://www.utu.yoyo.pl/harold/clouds.html

I was thinking along the lines of programming, the books all have to do with mathematical computing, i.e. FORTRAN is a numerical computation language, Operational Amplifiers are used to solve equations, Thinking Forth is about factoring and solving problems in programming (specifically in the Forth language). HTML didn't seem to fit in any of these so I stopped that mess.
Still stuck.

level 12 wont be a "word" just letters
thatguy79
05-04-2006, 07:01 PM
Possibly
Look at the coordinates in the picture (using paint), very close. Zoom if necessary, be accurate. That will lead you to the second part of this level, then translate the 4 letters into numbers, following the usual manner, and don't forget to view the source in the second part, too
it is not aong, be more accurate. Try different letter possibilities if necessary
thatguy79

well i noticed that the man is horizontal and if those people were holdin him he would be like against teh wall...so i think he dove or fell from another building or something...hit me with a clue if u pass this...
MyFairHexi
05-06-2006, 05:34 AM
Yes, even fallin from above - OR not falling at all... The man's t-shirt doesn't really look like he would be falling. I'm not shure, but to me it seems to be a montage.

i found out...he is a japenese artist...he uses photoshops of himself diving out stuff and puts them into another pic...also, the answer has something to do with friday the 13th or bad luck or sumthing...i just cant pout my finger on it...if u got it...a little push would be nice
ahh i got it...

well for when u get up later... its a baconian graph or sumthign i found on google...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baconian_cipher and inthe source code u use every 5 letters and u get a letter on teh baconian scale or w/e...but...since im feelin helpful...the letters decipher to...
capitol of mongolia
and u have to look that up...i did the hard part dont complain
i gto 15 too...use a calculator...and when u get the answer look at it...
upside down
and u get
boss

05-06-2006, 05:20 PM
Whow, great job !@Scott@!, thx! And I'm not complaining at all ;O)
I figured out #14 - but maths don't really count to my preferred hobbies, so I was happy to find the answer for #15!
And now I'm stuck again - on #16 :'(
Thought it could have something to do with the date on the postmark and the mountain, which was climbed in that month... (because of the title: I was first!) But I tried both names of this men in every way I could think of - nothing!
After hours surching google for any other event at that time, I'm now becoming very tired of that ;O))
For # 16 just concentrate on the title and what you see and you should get it ;)
another hint - "i was first" is reffering to the postage stamp
!@Scott@!
05-06-2006, 07:22 PM
which stamp? im really cunfused?
thanks for the hint on 16...i got it now... to get answer...
google first stamp and put the name of the first stamp as teh answer
ok 17 has something to do with petert zizzo's song "climbing up moutn everest" or just peter zizzo himself...im really stuck...some help would be nice
omg the luckiest thing...i thought the thing in the back might be a start of an avalanche so i typed taht...nothing...then i thought of the title for 13...why does this happen and thought of gravity...so i typed in the "inventor of gravbity" (founder i guess) (a famous scientist) and blam i skipped 18 and am on 19...how...i do not know however...the answer is
newton
20 was really easy im nto givin teh answer thats how easy it was...however i will nudge u in teh right direction...
find artist name and look at teh original painting and notice a difference...
artist name is (for the lazy people)
marc chagall
and for the REALLY lazy people...the difference is in his hand with 7 fingers

the -2 is beneath the 332 and the 9 is near the bottom of the white coloured branch..

I had the same idea, tried everything I could think of with Mr. Bean and Rowan Atkinson, with slashes, without slashes, slashed to single letters, changing the folder...
Then I thought about the beans and came up to Jack and the Beanstalk...
Other ideas? A little hint from anyone who made it would really help :thk:
Oops - I'm late *gg*

well you are on the correct lines of Rowan Atkinson, once you get what you are looking for after googling 7bf and silly bean, take out the harold and put the first part of your answer...does that make sense?

thanks..
what's the solution to 17?? i mean how do u solve it, what's the catch??
i found this Great Alpine Challenge - Run 21km ... Ski 42km... Cycle 55km - starts May 19 but could not get any key to the next level..
for 17, you'd need the name of the singer of "climbing up ..."
and it is something different than the zizzo guy...that part had me confused for a long long long long time....and also, you need to move the name around a bit for the answer...=P
and when anyone is done 26, help......

Seems that I'm really stupid! I can't find anything usable at google by searching for these things...
Probably I'm totally wrong with that converting?
I got 71115 or 7 11 15 by converting from hexadecimal to decimal - could that be right at all?
OMG, this Language-Problem once will kill me!!! Are there any German Riddles out? ;O)
