on the top of the table
in the recycle bin
in the bottom right of the chimney
take the knife and click on the square in the upper right of the chimney
click the stand, take the knife and click in the second hanger
take the screwdriver and click in the left side of the cabinet. among the puppets is a key
click on the bottom drawer of the cabinet, take the knife and click on the ball

first click with the screwdriver on the 2 green cubes, than click just under the table, a panel will slide and you can enter into a secret room

The screwdriver is in the coatrack by the door. Take the knife and click on the second circle to get it.

After you press the two green squares above the desk with the screwdriver you can click under the desk on the wall to look into another room.

@leanne: first you have to turn to grey the green squares on the table (use screwdriver) then just click randomly on the wall under the table

you can change the color of the books on the shelf by clicking the blue button on the stick above the table in the secret room...once you change the book colors in the secret room that gives you the code for the box...count the yellow books and those numbers are the code481114

count the yellow books from left to right and make note of the places they're in... 4, 8, 11, and 14...I just put the numbers together to get the code...

lol...yeah, I noticed that the garland doesn't go all the way around the room...wonder why that's so???

I can pull the couch cushions apart at the seams, but there are no keys in any of them...also, both chairs move, the candles move, the picture above the couch moves, and can lift the corners of the rug in front of the door and under the coffee table...but none of those things reveals any more keys...

Kristin, the key in the chimney is actually inside the grey spot on the top right of the chimney...you have to use the knife to open it up ;)

-on tree
-in purple slipper
-in garbage bin
-seam on left side of couch
-on the table
-knife: bottom right of fireplace
-use knife on top right square on fireplace - get key
-use knife on coathanger to get screwdriver
-use screwdriver on left door of cabinet - get key
-use screwdriver on bottom drawer of cabinet, use knife on the ball - get key
-use screwdriver on the green spots on/above the desk, click under desk to open hidden room
-press button underneath shelf on left wall (books light up and show code for the box)
-open the box (code is 481114) - get key
-use the screwdriver on the floor (in secret room) - get grey key
-use grey key on box under window - get key
- get out =)

Thanks for the hint about the desk and some of the others.This was very annoying because it was a pixel hunt for a lot of the areas you were supposed to click. I had clicked all the slippers and nothing.

I haven't read all the 11 sides, perhaps, someone posted before:

(For the creator:
I have zoomed in, but some keys are really hard to click. Perhaps the next time you use please a lighter yellow. I prefer, when you only highlight the items and use the mouse pointer for clicking. When such a great tool is hanging on my mouse, I loose control, don't know, where to click. You make such good draws and good games, but hard to handle for me.)

screwdriver to remove the gray squares from above desk, then open secret panel under desk through the wall to get into secret room. Click shelf, then button on it to change colors of books.
This will give you the code for the locked box

using the screwdriver is a bit hit & miss, especially to unscrew the desk.
finding the grey key is also next to impossible unless you know where your looking.
I'd have probably not completed it without help from here.

Walkthrough

~ Take key #1 from the right side of the christmas tree.
~ Click on the purple slipper. Take key #3.
~ Go left. Click inside the garbage. Take key # 8.
~ Go left twice. Click on the left side of the couch. Take key #6.
~ Click on the tablemat and take key# 4.
~ On the right side of the fireplace there is a knife, take it.
~ Use the knife on the top right side box of the fireplace. Take key # 7.
~ Go right. Click on the coathanger. Use the knife on the second hanger and get the screwdriver.
~ Use the screwdriver on the left door of the cabinet. Get key # 10 from the toys.
~ Use the screwdriver on the bottom drawer. Use the knife on the ball. Get key # 5.
~ Go right. Use the screwdriver on the two green spots that are above the desk. Turn on the lamp.
~ Click on the back of the desk to open a secret room. Enter the new room.
~ Click on the shelf. It will turn. Press the button.
~ The colour of the books will change. Note the placing of the yellow books. It's 4, 8, 11, 14. Put them all together and you get 481114.
~ Click on the blue box beside the table. Put the code on this box and open the side. Get key #2.
~ Use the screwdriver on the 2nd tile from right of the second last row. Get the grey key.
~ Come out of the secret room. Use the key on the grey box that is under the window.
~ Take key # 9. Go left and click on the door. You have escaped Locked Forever 8.
