i see many of you need some help on #5 so here goes.


the pic is helpful, as it has numbers aranged in the set up you want.

think of connect the dot games when you go from number to number.
but now, in an order.
release the line on what is inbetween the letters of release, so you can make another line.

"end on a *" each letter ends at the star.

Googled the result and everything I tried gave me a 404 not found. All sources appeared the same though I beleive one is false?

It's much simpler than that. The answer is the first thing you see. Pay attention to the pages that you get. One is different than you would get with any other answers.

I decoded the entry and got the title of a Doug Adams novel Googled that and tried several names mentioned. All 404. Could see no difference in screens or sources.

There's an arrow in the source code showing a direction. If you rewrite the message, using the arrow to point out the letters, you should get a message...

I've been pretty unlucky with 18. You pretty much have to translate the Base 16 (Hexidecimal) numbers of those colors (HTML) into Base 10 (Decimal, we use this to count). Then do the math. I had what I thought was the answer but it's killing me. Their forums end with something about him changing the level because the HTML color standards had changed.

Talk about "not seeing the forest for the trees"! Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! Just a matter of overlooking the obvious and reading more into it than what is there. What threw me off was the hint itself "IT has a calculator that tells all truth" I was concentrating on the it, when really the answer was the "truth" itself! ;(

Yes, you are right. Now look from how many words consist the names in the first group and write it as the answer

Read the source carefully, if the answer starts with a number (as a number or written) it is a number. If it starts with text and ends with a number it is text(of whiichever type it falls in. Another note: with the text, googlepages allows the page names to be either upper or lowercase, making it difficult to see the answer correctly. If it reads as uppercase when you discover the answer it is such. Cows is lowercase.

I went through all the levels and "re-solved" them then did the math. Level1 counts, 8 is lowercase, both parts of 9 are counted, number 20 is also counted.

How can 8 be lowercase. "The answer to life" was a numeric answer. How do you know that "cows" is lowercase, the way it appears, it could be in caps? I noticed a few problems where it was not obvious as to whether they wanted the answer in caps or not. Lvl 13's answer has only the first letter is caps, do we just leave that one out?

Look at which direction the arrow points in the source.
Look at the clue and your keyboard. Move in the direction of the arrow from those letters on your keyboard. It spells a sentence from a very popular book/movie.

ok, if you know anything about blackjack it helps. this is another fraction type one.
#_#. You have to figure out how many cards are left in the deck and how many of those can get you higher than the dealer. It shows game 2, find the first game.

For 23 when you get there. You have to find another picture and use its code to solve it. Think about opposites when looking for the picture and remember the source. If you crack the code properly, you should see an image of something fairly common. I haven't broken it properly yet, although I've had numerous clues. I've not resorted to asking for the answer yet.

Level 22 is an anagram. You need to find an anagram program with an unabridged word list. I have honestly never heard of the one of the words in it. If I could remember the website I used I would give it to you.

Think of what website the title is hinting for (It's very well know). Go to that website and then look up the person whos name is on the pic. You need to find out what he wants. Let me know if you need another clue, I just don't like giving away too much at once.

I can't believe I didn't get that before. I missed the previous post so that could have saved me an hour of time. 31 does seem pretty tough. It has to be something completely obvious that nobody is getting.

I think the title is a big clue. What letter could you put in front of the first word in the title to make a new word. If you put that letter in front of the other word it would seem it has something to do with google. Since that is the host of his site it would seem the answer may lie somewhere on the homepage on his site. Not sure if I am looking too deeply or not. Maybe somewhere on his forums. I can't access the forum on the computer I am on now, but I will try when I go home. Just a thought.
