Didn't get very far :P

Found billiard ball with 8 in one of the holes of the billiard table; magnifyer between the couches (used once); blue flag in secret panel if I remember correctly (used); key (hidden on stairs in front of door). Opened 2 panels on the floor with the chair with the help of the arrow hints on the floor, and switched on the light with the key
Probably missing a flag, and I don't understand the symbols on the door and the wall :S

Unfortunately I need to get some sleep now, going to see if I can get any further tomorrow :)

i did work some of it out myself though.
my advice, take LOTS of screengrabs. you'll need em.

At the moment I have, and am stuck, at the exact same place as you Mistery.

finally some progress (and going nuts on the TAB key)

use the magnifying glass on the panel over top of the number pad in the trap door
need a pen and paper for this one, the arrows draw out the code
got some kind of button or plug type thing..bet it fits the whole by the door..off to see

It really sucks that after an hour I got stumped for the final code :(
Made it through the whole game on my own and had to look up the last part...ah well...Out.

HINTS:
for the 1st level door code:

look at the symbols on the door
look at the symbols on the chair room wall (after you use the screwdriver)
---How many---
bigger hint (pretty much giving it to you)
there are 2 of the first symbol


second floor:

you aren't done on the first floor, find the knife and go back


third floor

obvious, use the 2 codes from the second floor to get both green lights

you now have 2 new codes
This is where I had to give up and look for help:

"Don't know if this has been posted yet. The circle symbols represent (most of) the planets of the solar system. The "alien" symbols match up with them and are the symbols on the keypad.

Figure out which planets are largest - Sun to Mercury - and enter the "alien" symbols on the keypad in that order. It REALLY helps to write the two sets of symbols down next to one another so you can match them up, then go to Wikipedia and look up the planet symbols."

I'm out ! Fantastic game, just love the adventureX ones.
Even more pleased because I didn't need many hints.

Wolf is right writing down the two sets of codes above each other really helps and makes you gain time ^^

When tracing lines do not stop at a point. Continue as far as possible.

Disclaimer: I'm a newbie to the room escape games so sorry if this is an old hint! :happyflower:

Recently I learned about using the TAB button to search - that is - a "clickable" item will be highlighted each time the TAB button is pressed. That's how I was able to find the key at the front door, for instance.

...It's not about counting, it's about direction of arrows

more hint on puzzle, giving it away:...use the magnifying glass to zoom in on the 4 rectangles in the trapdoor with the keypad. write down the patterns/circles you see, then draw lines in each of the arrows' directions.

any hints on where the knife is? is it on the first floor?

WERE DO YOU GET THE KNIFE AND AHHHHH....srry im new but i have figured out around 100 puzzles and im still harsh on adventurex games....soooo hard.

ok. I admit being blond--- I am still stuck at the first door! I have tried:

counting the # of the symbols from the door that are on the wall, but 3 of the symbols aren't even on the wall! The last 3 symbols have more than one line coming from the circle (example -o- ) and none of the symbols on the wall have more than one line. I even tried adding up the symbols ( ex: -o + o- = -o-), but still nothing. HELP anyone!!!

I FINALLY BEAT IT, wow that was an amaizingly hard game. definatly thought outside the box on that one, needed help on the symbols in the top floor 3rd room but definatly wouldnt have thought of the answer to be so obviously hidden if that makes sence

im so stuck.. ive read all the posts still cant figure out the codes for the first level.. i used the magnifying glass and formed the number.. if im supposed to use them on that keypad, that doesnt work..
cant find the other flag either.. i have only the blue one.. and where is the screwdriver????

To get the screwdriver you've to find 2 flags
(1 blue and 1 red) and place them on the globe and for that you might want to take a closer look at them, as to know where to place them ^^

I'm sooo stuck on that floor panel with the number pads. I have the numbers from magnifying the top squares, but it doesn't do anything when I type them in. I had 5936, but then I rechecked it and got 5536, but it still does nothing. :(

With the flags: apparently you have to go through all the motions before it works click on the flags with the magnifying glass and then put them in the right country on the globe
