Shokoyuki is another new Japanese point and click type room escape game by Choko-Chai, who is the creator of Operation Escape of Three Cats and Concert game series. A lantern, unusedm wood ... placed in fireplace, kindlin that ive lit, all the bits for the 'fire maker' ... used, music .... used, 4 gray stone things, unused and i think i need a 5th, green book and red book, looked at both, green gem stones , put in place, key .. used.
ow im stuck again after lighting kindle!

You've got to put something above the fire on the black shelf and then use the bellows.....I think.

Do you have all 5 of the grey metal pieces yet? when you do you place them in the black key mold, put that above the fire on the shelf then use the bellows on the fire to melt the metal and make a key

jst click on the cute cat in the bottom left corner of the screen and when they appear click on one of them and on the thing you want it to do.:)

UPDATE: In case anyone else appears to have this same problem...... you don't get to see the cats until you go outside!! After reading several other forums and finding no one else with this complaint.... I broke down and watched the video walkthrough. Problem solved. But I am leaving this post on the off chance that someone else needs the information. Now I am off to start the game again.......

I suppose there in lies my problem..... I HAVE NO "CUTE CAT" IN THE LEFT CORNER OF MY SCREEN and certain other things appear to be missing as well. Hard to play a game all the way through if it doesn't load properly. Guess I too have to start over.

Restarted the game five times and still no cat in the bottom left corner of the game. It must be a bug because my computer says it has download the complete page. So I guess I don't get to play today as I assume you need the cat to finish.

I have all the pieces for the "fire starter" and it is "smoking". But I can not get the mold out of the book. Therefore, I can not put the little gray blobs in the mold. I tried to put the little gray blobs in the mold while it is in the book but that does not work either.

From previous comments, it appears that you have to
put wood in fireplace
build the fire starter from the pieces diagrammed in the Red Book (6 pieces) scattered around the room
then click it and it starts smoking
then (not sure of order) either use the "saw dust" on the fire starter or use the fire starter on the "sawdust" by clicking the items from you inventory and then "about item" for the other inventory item.
now I have a flaming pile of saw dust in my inventory
--- this is as far as I can get ---

and supposedly you get a key to go outside.

you need the cats to get the gem out of the tree, well and on the wall just to the right of the door, the fat cat will kick the tree the brown one will attack the wall, and the black and white one go down in the well

It was down for a few days, and it has a similar (but not same) name. It was moved to the Broken Links area since it gave an error message.

Hi, I had the same problem and had to resort to the video walkthrough. Check all the colored cabinets. There is an item in two of them, neither completely hidden.
