I haveplaced the mirror on the table, but can't read the code. I understand the code frombut only have four of the letters and two are the same color.

i have the blue symbol, table, mirror, laser light and now im clueless

WALKTHROUGH

get remote on the tv to the left. look at it in inventory, get battery. look at the dress at the front, get key from its left pocket
take mirror off the wall to the right. push green button (?). open the curtain, use key on the blinds
zoom out again, go right. look up at the lamp and get the green paper from the lamp. note the blue sign on it. look under the table - theres a laserlight there. take it, then take the table as well
in your inventory, combine the battery and the laserlight. note the color sequence )yellow, green, red, purple, blue and orange) now note the signs on the walls all around and their colors at well. you get 5 signs (including the one on the paper)
look at the little briefcase and insert the symbols in their color order. i couldnt find a code for the first (yellow), so i guessed that last. the briefcase opens andyou get binoculars
turn around. place the table in front of the window and the mirror on the table. now look into the mirror. see the yellow lights? use the binoculars on them, you’ll get a code

Out unassisted! That was fun.
Found code to trap door without mirror but it turns out you must go through this step before it will accept code...a weakness in the game perhaps?

The code for the trap door changes every time.
Although I cant seem to make it work, i have inserted the code many times.
The symbol code seems to be the same in every game.
The 5th letter the one in the paper with the blue colour is an Σ= S, not that it really matters :)
