I have googled every possible combination of the singer of the song, the name of the song, objects in the main picture, and different names for the item in the second picture. I have no clue what else to try.
I can't locate the name or singer--it's not in the source of the mp3 or web page--well at least I am not seeing it :(

You have to right click and go to view source or go to the top menu select view and then source. If this is your first riddle game I would try Tricky's riddle or Another Online Riddle first. They are good starter riddles.

I found it, it's not helping much though. Perhaps if there is somebody that can speak in Italian it might help. The online translator doesn't do a very good job, and I haven't seen this level mentioned there so far.

The capital letters at the begining of each sentence stand out quite a bit, but the ones up top you are refering to also look out of place. There aren't many words with a Q and no U, but I am no expert on latin, so I'm not so sure. I'm not having alot of luck translating the text either.

The paragraph obviously needs to be changed somehow-- and only have 1 and 14 to go on...and the X---I've done a lot of letter and word counting, nothing stands out

PMed you Judy. I think that those letters on the right over the text definately have something to do with it. I don't think that it makes words, even in latin. There are 4 sets of three characters, 4 sets of four characters, and 2 sets of five characters. I wonder if that is important.

I wonder if there is anything to google that would allow us to find the original picture of this to see what was changed. I'm sure the pic has to have been altered somehow from the original, and that is definately a real work of art. I'm googling frescos from 1500 right now.

Yes, even you change the V to an U (it's often written in Latin like this), the rest looks pretty strange of that line. And even you can't google it. Rearranging those letters?

I honestly don't know what to make of the text. It looks like it has been altered. I think if that was what the original picture really said googling it would have come back with a website and a picture somewhere.
