Howdy, I'm new and just started playing this. I was hoping someone could give me a nudge for lvl7 - belasco marsh...I have listened to the sound file, and am 90% sure I know what it's saying, but have no idea where to go from here.

So in level 46, i try doing the same thing i did with the east bridge one using the 8 letter combinations. i just end up with jibberish. something is obviously wrong. haha. is the most important combination (the one that overrides all the others) the one you get with A? and then B? then C? and so on and so forth? or is it like, alphabetical depending on the sin?

Well took a few days away to clear head and enjoy life outside of comp, but to no avail in helping me figure out 22.

looking at a page that says this is the second part of the solution.

Scratch all that i made it to Town of Donia.

Now after figuring out some parts, and reading posts here I am lost to as to how to download what i need for help?

I know, I know...but I've read the other posts and have moved the letters around several times and come up with the same mess of garbled letters each time. (although in the 2nd arrow grid, more than one arrow points to the same box so I end up with 2 letters in at least one cell) and can't come up with anything meaningful...am I missing some other clue?

Oh, this one is a lot of fun indeed...
I won't give you the answer, but how I solved it:

Write down all the letters of each cog on four lines, as they would appear if you turned the first cog clockwiseRemember that if cog #1 goes clockwise, clock #2 goes anticlockwise, ...That way, your letters are always aligned.

Next, just do what you're asked to. turn the cogs in the same direction each time and remmber that if #2 goes clockwise, #1 goes anticlockwise...

I'm in level 47, Forest of Vampires, and I don't know what to do!! It says "Vampires ignore all but blood..." so I just keep looking at the formulas written in red. I see imaginary numbers, arrows, and other stuff, and I just don't get it. Any hints? =)

And for those who skipped level 43, 44, and probably 45 (I read the posts on about pages 71-74), the end of the video is not for "conductor". I think it is supposed to mean "success", because the guy looks like he's rejoicing, and if you type in the opposite of that, you'll get the password needed for the second part of 43.

for this one you have to find the first letter of the word that is represented by the formula. all i found was G fro the gravity force formula and I for the sqrt(-1) and i got the word, think that it's strongly related to vampires !

The Sadam woods references the VEROS woods...maybe there's something there that can help you?
Did you find a Silk Bag in Veros woods?
What kind of file is in the silk bag? Maybe it can be used somehow to translate the words in sadam woods?

Well, if you have all that, and you've done level #28 already, you shouldn't have any problems. Remmber that except for a couple of them, all the answers are in plain english.

Well, with time and patience ;). Once again, keep in mind that the result is most likely in plain english: fill the obvious ones first, the ones for which there's no doubt. Then, build from that : as an example (not an actual one, more an illustration), if you're sure that an x should be in 6th position, then you prolly won't have another x, nor a z, in 5th or 7th.
You should have realised by now the general gloomy atmosphere of the riddles: that's another thing to keep in mind to guess the answer.
I'm sorry not to be more specific: I could give you the answer, but where would be the fun ? You can always PM if you're completely lost.

pixiedust, you gonna have to learn what the greek letter is and stands for before the end. That'll give you one more letter. Let's see... You're missing the electrical symbol, not for a condensatort but for a ... and the speed of light, which is a famous universal...

And once again: remember the overall theme of the riddle. That's always helpful to know/guess what you should find...

ugh, ok, so i am able to blow through levels 16 to 21 without needing any help and find all the eggs/parts of 22 and then bam the last part has me stumped. i've read all the hints, i've seen how everyone says this one is just blatantly obvious and i just don't get it. i've tried every variation of andrun i can think of in every possible directory with every previously used extension and nothing is working for me here.

so i'm posting for help so either someone can help me or i get it on my own based on the "you always get it once you ask for help" rule.

I've read through every single last post in this thread, trying to figure out level 15. I've gotten D***** and know it's a keyboard. I understand that I'll use the D-Q, Q-D clue at some point in time. When I try to put D***** in the .html, I get a page that says "How will D***** help you solve the riddle?" I've tried every answer I can think of and still don't get any farther.

Can anyone help? I know what to do when I get there, I just cannot for the life of me figure out how to get there.

Thanks for the help guys! Turns out I had the answer all along, I just typed in ".html" instead of ".htm" when I entered it. Duh. I'm stuck on 22 now. I hate to sound like a broken record but... Did you try typing that hint you found in the URL?

I give everyone props who even figures out this level on their own or with the hints provided. I couldn't find the answer for the life of me and ended up hacking the riddle. By hacking I mean I extracted all the text files and wrote a VBScript to filter through them all and dump out the answers. Then I had to figure out how the answers I got fit the riddle. Of course there is still a part you have to figure out on your own.

alright, i'm just not seeing it. can someone who has solved this level give me a hint?

I've seen the hint given before that the answer to this level is in the image on level 42. I've stared at this image for hours and aside from still not being entirely sure what it is of I still don't have the answer. Last night I discovered a section of the image that looked altered and looks like something but that hasn't yielded me anything. Does the title bar mean the answer has four characters since it is ----?

EDIT: Thanks for your help in PM Mina. I totally misunderstood that hint and had mis-solved level 42. Once I solved level 42 correctly, level 43 fell into place. Now I am pondering level 45.

I've got quite far alone, but am now stumped with level 45 (the relic room).
On the tomb it says "everything is the key. A hint in the source (i think) is the jpg title: yellowiswhatwillsaveyou. I have tried various things like in the last relic rooms where you do something to the address to change location but with no sucess. Is this something to do with the "spectrum of grief" level a while back?

Well done egoboy,but yes there is a way...`"All those lacking inversion"...it refers to inversion of the alphabet...if the groups of 3 letters are in order of the alphabet you discard them...if they are inverted you keep them.

I've gone back to look at The Denis Woods, Dabi's Path and the Colorize pages, and the only reference to yellow I can find is the number sequence (but I can't figure out how to get the next number in this sequence, if that is the answer...). If it is referring to the stages of grief, I have absolutely no idea what "yellow" would be!

mizdeeds... i feel your pain about being stumped on levels that everyone else seems to get easily.

There are 5 rows of numbers. Each row contains a set of 6 numbers with a ? to represent the 7th number. Each set of numbers follows a unique pattern and you must determine what the pattern is to figure out the 7th number in each set. In the end you get 5 numbers. Each of these 5 numbers are double-digit numbers. Take these numbers and plot them on the grid at the bottom of the page to convert them to letters. The 5 letters you get are the answer to the riddle.

Remind me the hint on the cogs... what does it tell you to do? as far as I can remember you have to turn the cog that the first column says (latin numerals I=1, II=2 etc) as many times as the second column says, the other cogs turn accordingly (2 neighbooring cogs turn the opposite way) and then read the letter where the thingy points to on the cog the third and last column tells you That's about it... Hope that helped, but feel free to ask again...

Yup, you've got both ends. Now you need the middle. Think about it....what would fit there...that relates to that symbol?

A little help on 58 Marsh of the living Dead? It's the one with the pairs of letters and numbers, where u download 8 pics with 8 riddles, solve them and find the letters of an 8 letters long word...

I'm having a few problems with level #76 now, if anyone can offer advice please?
I'm confused about how to put the letters into the grids and how to change them. Are they simply anagrams, or am I overcomplicating matters? I can't help thinking I should find another page or image but nothing I've tried so far has had any results. :(

I can't find anything about this level in the archives, does that mean I'm missing something obvious?

I spent DAYS on this one trying to do it in entirely the wrong way.
The letters in the grids say something. Capitalization means nothing. Don't try to make those letters fit into the empty grids...the answer to what they say is what will fit in the first empty grid...

I got a lot of help in understanding this riddle from posts 1559-1560, but I can't seem to make it work so that I get a word... Here's what I've tried:
1. each group of letters (alphabet) is for the directions eg abc:up and left, def: up etc, 2: the capital letters tell you which direction to follow and their position in the word how many spaces do you move eg whAt means go up and left for 3 spaces etc, 3: you start counting from X and continue from each letter you land... This will give you inuz... and it stops because you get to the end of the grid and you can't move in the direction you are supposed to!!! Help!

I ve been out for a while, but now I ve come back and I try to catch up with the riddle. However I am stuck (I guess I got a little rusty all these days... :sad: ).

I believe I ve spot some clues
1. From the window title which refers to a previous lvl (a sonata)
2. From the picture's name which is the name of a river in a previous lvl too. In fact, in that lvl, there was a river (and a word) missing.
3. The capital letters and the arrow indicate the change

but unfortunately I cannot find the right word to change...

Ok you have to find something in the information about the river that refers to time... Remember the question at the bottom? "how long must I endure this...?" or something... you muste answer that question.

Sup guys, I can't get level 21, which is the first relics level. I'm oh so very lost and bordering on depression. All the forums I've seen repeat the same two things..."Nothing is the key" or "the key is nothing". In my short life I've had three surgeries on my knee, a broken arm, and an appendectomy. At the rate I'm going I might not make it until 25 so can someone give me a very nice hint. Please.

actually there are 2 things u r supposed to find
u must take a closer look at the page source....
what is the name of the pic of the oak tree? and
there is something more in the source... a file perhaps?
and greg about the first relics nothing refers to... something u must "do" to the address bar... you needed answers to unlock locked doors, but this door isn't locked

an arrow indicates where you would place the letter that you will move...
example:

there's a letter s on the first grid... the arrow on the other grid has an arrow directing to left...

you'll gonna move letter s to the left...

the arrow with two lines with one head...
it has a "two times" power...
so you'll gonna move the letter two times...

the one with an arrow with two lines and two heads (the arrow either pointing up and left/right)

it tells that the letter can be placed on both places or one of those places...

ummm...

if you finished moving the letters based on the second grid?

you?ll retain the result on the second grid and follow the directions on the third grid?

until you finished following the directions on the fourth grid.

And you?ll get a three-word answer?
