any help with the last lens, have other three and think i know the order but cant find last one, please (think its green)

nv mind...duh...had to look closer at what i already had
cant believe i finally did one with no help....yeahhhhh!

the guy was dutch(netherlands) born 20 km from where i live

I'm in the same place as you two. Must be something very simple that we are missing. Everyone says it is really quite easy. Maybe overthinking.

I quit already. There is no fun in this. Alot of clicking and absolutely no progress.

I now have all colored lenses and got a couple codes

There is a code on the second of the two books on left and it refers to the roman numeral on the fourth book to the right from left

out - don't need translation to solve.

near desk - note an arrow will apper midscreen to allow a new view.

Well, that was INTENSELY frustrating! I eventually found all the filters but, on one painting, got the same number showing for all of them. If you really want to know:
La méridienne-red filter-2
La chambre d’Arles-yellow filter-6
L’église d’Auvers sur Oise-blue-4
Peintre sur la route d’Arles-green-6
So, according to the diagram, the code for the door is 2646
