Submachine Zero

[Mistery]

This is an entry for a game competition by the maker of the other Submachine games.

"There are three facts about this game that you need to know:
1. this game was created for JayIsGames flash games contest and has nothing to do with the main submachine series storyline. It had to meet the contest's specifications, hence...
2. this game is short. And I mean it. Don't expect dozens of locations to wander around solving countless puzzles, this game is shorter than Submachine1.
3. this game uses completely new game engine, which I rewrote from scratch. For example, there is a new way of using items that you collect. Its more like 'take the item and put it back' than 'drag and drop over something', like it was in previous submachine games. So think of it as a small warm up before 'Submachine4: the Lab', which I am already developing. Till then - have fun with this ancient adventure. "

I already played it through, it's not difficult but has a nice atmosphere, and I loved the ending :)

Yep, it just died. Where on Earth do you find the supposedly 3 red gems you need? All I can see is gray :S

Guess then there must be a bug with your game (can happen in every game, although chances are low). Maybe you can try to restart and see if it happens again. Sorry, I can not tell you a better solution.

If I remember correctly the gems are in the 3 different rooms that you can access from the same room. To open the doors, you have to turn/set the cube in different directions (their position is shown on or above the doors each) in another room. If you have already found the two other gems, you need to open the third door in a similar way.

Well, there is a room with a cube-looking thingie, which can be turned. With this you can set which door can be opened in the other room.

I know I'm being thick here but I haven't got a clue where this cube is supposed to be. I know now where those 3 doors that you talk about are though.

When I've gone inside in the room with the horses, I can go 2 rooms down, and from there 1 right and 1 down, and then no further. Or I can go 1 left, 1 down where I can push some rock in the wall down, but that doesn't seem to do anything, I haven't been able to figure out what at least, and then 1 right and 1 down and no further. And all I have is the lighter :S

Ah thanks, I didn't think the spikes on the left would disappear when I pushed the rock in the wall, from what I had understood you'd need the 3 gems to stop them.

Btw, the second link in the first post leads to the game Gateway instead.

Just go to the right when you are still outside and it is in the wall (about the center of the screen), it's a yellowish thing.

After you get the jewels and the stone, you need to put the stone in front of the moving arrows, then it will lead you into a sanctuary and you will have to put the jewels in the correct order!!! That`s it !!!

umm...i think this is a glith..but after i go down and light the first candle, my cursor becomes a lighter and i cant go down or up...does anyone have the same problems?

This was very short and easy. it?s not bad, but I was really surprized that it ended so fast!!
First I didnt even think that it was theend. But okey...

1. Go left. Pick up stone tongue.
2. Go right twice and pick up stone tongue and lighter (in the wall)
3. Go left to main entrance. Place tongues in dragons mouths and open door.
4. Go in and down the tunnel.
5. Light lantern and continue down.
6. Go left. Light lantern.
7. Go down. Click machine on the left hand wall.
8. Go back up.
9. Go left and turn the block.
10, Right, Down, Right. Light lantern.
11. Down, light lantern, Right. Pick up jewel
12. Left, Up, Left, Up, Left. Turn block.

Repeat the turning of the block a total of 3 times. Each time, from the block room, you will move Right, Down, Right, Down. You'll be in a room with 3 tunnels and turning the block opens a different tunnel door. Be sure to grab the jewel each time and keep an eye out for the stone block (it's in the room behind the trapdoor on the left.)

When you have all three jewels, go Up, Left, Up, Right and you're back to the main shaft. Now...

1. Go right. Light lantern. Place stone block by the spears.
2. Go right.
3. Place the stones in the altar from top to bottom.

You win YAY!
