i remember this game, i played it ages ago. it's really hard but so satisfying. make sure you save frequently!

i downloaded the game and it's in a winzip file...i'm not really sure what to do to install the game - i'm just not all that familiar with what to do with winzip...any help?

Just tell it to 'unzip' or 'extract' all files, then save the new files to a folder on your computer. Then you should be able to play using the extracted files.

i got on day 2, and i found a book about defoe family, but i cant get anywhere past that. right now ive picked up a chord and a book, i can find either because i dont think there is an inventory button, and i can pick up the rifle but i have no where to put it, anyone else get any further?:mad: im stuck!

i assume i'm still on day 1, i'm looking for the other person stuck in the mansion. i've found the 1st 2 people and know about the house meeting. where is the 3rd person?

also, how do i save the game?

Booshia, you do not need the rifle till the end of the game. Put it back over the fireplace. Right click for inventory.
Save the game by right clicking and hitting the thing that looks like

To find Simone and the boy:
go upstairs, to the right, and talk to the lady, then go outside, and 'TALK" to the tree.

okay i had already found simone, but i did what you said about the tree and box comes up saying "i'm not that far gone" i assume you meant the tree right outside near the shed, right?

oh and when you talk to the tree, you need to shake it first
when you shake the tree someone says hey, then you choose the talk option

It won't let me look at the part of the kitchen floor where the bodies are supposed to be. I clicked all over it with the look icon.

The bodies arent in the kitchen floor. Go to the shed and get a pickaxe. If you havent unlocked the shed do so with your lockpicks. Then go back to the kitchen and use the pickaxe on the clickable part on the wall to the left.

Okay, I found the spot, and it says AREA, but it says "that doesn't work" when I try clicking on and around that area. (I have looked at the chains already, if that's important.

[003] Open the door. You can’t!
