I don't know about you guys, but I liked the original Max books better (When the Wind Blows, The Lake House) a lot better than the new ones.

I would have preferred it if Patterson had stuck with the original characters/etc--I kinda fell in love with them, so it was a major disappointment (and confusing!) to read Maximum Ride when the first one came out. I was really expecting more about Frannie and Kip and the original gang... Oh, well. Maybe I'll give the new ones another shot some day.

I would say so. Of course, I imagine that you'd like whatever you read first better, because it's what you're used to. Then again, I've only read the first book in the new series. But I loved the originals.

Hi everyone. I'm going to ask you one question. What is your favourite book?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK, just a couple of simple rules for you...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:scared-couch: 1 - no swear words or rude things
2 - you can have as many answers as you like :goss:
3 - respect the people who have answers :repa: :stop2:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:) this is my first thread so please enjoy it.
Now, my favourite book(s) are the Harry Potter series (see below.) JK Rowling is my favourite ever author and someday I wish to be like her.
