Okay, so the answer i found before must be for a level 13.

I can see something in the grid now:
if I read starting bottom left first, not bottom right and use the coordinates
but that hasn't gotten me to level 5.

but i tried all possible spellings of a famous king in egypt whose name begins with the right letter

should we be paying more attention to the hint about the chapter?

That's what I was thinking as the new chapter part....the ruler after Cleopatra. She was the last Egyptian Pharaoh. The Romans took over after her death.

There is more than one translation for Sphinx. Try another language, it's not Greek...
