The writer has some of his facts wrong on that page. He says Louis Braille was born that year, but thats the year he died.

yes, thats right. braille died on that year.
And the closest answer i've found is Albert Spalding who was born in 1850 and not on 1852. This is tough!! Great game though. ;)

Uhm... have you noticed the the last person who asked about the same thing you are did it a year ago, bakabecca? There has been a mistake, you see, because this riddle happens to have the same name as a newly added one. The creator of this riddle was last active in 2007 and it seems the level you are on may not have been solved. I'm sorry :S
