Signing me out/logout issues

This is happening quite often now, when i click to refresh the page or click on a thread sometimes im getting signed out. It has happened two times today and i had to try 6 times before it had fully logged me in.....it came up "Thank you for logging in, jenni.p123", but it still said i wasnt logged in at the top right hand side :S
i know this is very confusing but i was just wondering if anyone elses was doing this or is it just my computer?

I don't have any problems with staying logged in, and I'm quite a lot around lately...

I assume you checked the box "Remember me" and also allowed cookies...

when i press the remember me box the tick goes away im not sure if thats ment to happen??... and yes i have allowed cookies

No, the box should be ticked when you log in.
Strange... To be honest, I'm at a loss with your problem at the moment. But maybe GamersHood or another moderator has an idea.

Please try different web browsers or different computer and let me know the results.

I also have an idea. Have you checked your if your OS and web browser have been updated recently? If not then an update might help. Sometimes updates do not happen automatically depending on what settings you have on your computer. I think it might be worth a try :)

Actually, I have had that computer problem before...
It said i was all logged in and then it said i wasnt...
I have actually talked about it with Mistery..

I've had this kind of problem only once!! Do you have the cookies on your computer? I mean are you in Remember Me mode?

What i did was waiting a moment, exitting out, going back to the website, and trying again. it worked.

everytime i signed on i just kept pressing the remember me button and it FINALY (:P) kept me signed in and didnt sign back out :D

I'm not logging myself out and for some reason 3 times in the last hour the system seems to have logged me out without me asking?

any ideas?

I haven't experienced this problem today.
- Did you check the "remember me" field when you logged in?
- Did you enable cookies?
- And it's possible that you get logged out when you time out (no activity for 15 minutes).

If none of these 3 causes come in question, it must be some random issue.
Maybe you could try to logout, and log in making sure you check the "remember me" field.

Same thing happens to me. I will go to post something, and it will tell me that I am not logged in. Most of the time it happens if I am veiwing the forum and I happen to walk away from the computer for 10-15 mins.


I've gotten use to it now, and really didn't think it was a problem.

Could someone help me, when i log into gamershood and say i go away and make a cup of tea, i come back and i have been logged out, it's logging me out within minutes which is very annoying, is there a way to stay logged in longer?

Hi Cyber Girl, I've moved your post to the already existing thread about this problem.

When you log in, you should check the box next to "remember me".
This way you should stay logged in.
However, after 14-15 minutes of inactivity, you'll be automatically logged out.

Please let us know if checking the "remember me" box when logging in helps. :)

Thank you mistery i checked the remember me box made a cup of coffee and when i come back i'm still logged in, fantastic it was really bugging me to have to sign in again and again, your a star :ura:
