The Story:
"Your friend Alex goes missing, a trail of notes and clues left behind,

could just be my piece of junk laptop, but it looks like it will take a bit to download...

took 10 minutes or so, gonna play now!

well, i'm pretty much stuck...so far i have made it to the country where my friend alex/jorge is and done some walking around and talked to a few people who know who my friend is. also, i've gone to the wind tower place thing, but can't get in. i don't really know what else to do...

GREAT Game!!!! i love'd it! i give it a ten. it took me a while to finnish it but i finnally got it.best game i have ever played.

I haven't found any complaints on the AGS forums about this problem, it could be due to your graphic card...

I have the exsact same problem, and my graphics card is screwed up. Hmm, mabye that's the problem?

I'm not sure what OS you are using. I did some research on that "black screen" problem.

Possible causes/solutions:

Compatibility problems with Windows Vista.
Run the game in a window instead of full screen (if there is such an option at game start)
Update your graphic card drivers
Reinstall directx

I have no problems running this with windows Vista.
I am running with Intel intergrate video (32 Megs).

Those having running this, it possible your video driver is being corrupted, so try removing those and get updates from manufactuer website.

map tube, arrow, anchor, rope, lighter, shotgun shells, cloth, rubber stopper. I could take only one book and pills.
