The maker of Green Room has released a rather short room escape game for download. This time you need to solve puzzles in a hotel, and find out about a secret. Good luck :)

I have to admit that I'm completely stuck on those number pads and codes :haha:

I've only managed to open a chest, and have seen some codes.
Help :S

It seems I am not aloud to try out this game, only if I buy WinZip. :sad: After I downloaded the game I got this message:

No, the game is free. But you need a software to decompress it, this is what gave you the message (your Winzip).

Did you save the .zip file to your pc, rightclicked it then, and chose the software installed on your pc to decompress it?

If your Winzip still says no, you can download e.g. Winrar http://www.rarlab.com/ or TugZip http://www.tugzip.com/downloads.html

I'm using Winrar because it can handle .zip and .rar compressed files.
But newer Windows OS should have a built-in software for unzipping files.

I can't do the shooting game. :'( For some reason I can only shoot in the left direction and not in the right direction. :wht:

OKay, I will. :)
But I just found out that.. once I jump to the right and shoot at the same time, I can shoot in both dierctions. Not that it is helping me much, I am really bad in these kind of games. :P They work on my nerves. :crazy:

Edit: I forgot about the hint on the paper. I thought it was to get the game computer work. I pressed the red button in the game.. silly me. :$ Now that was a great cheat. :D I am back on the game. :D

Edit: Wow that took me long, but I finished the game!! :D :leb:

So if you load your saved game, what happens? Can't you enter the room with the arcade game? I'm sorry but I think I didn't quite understand what was going wrong for you.

ok I can load my game to where I was before my window closed I had the arcade game(the robot one) to the instructions menu but when I reopened my window and tried to do that again it wont let me get back to the instruction menu again. does this make sense? the robot game I cant play it

Did you try to zoom out again, go out of the room and come back to the arcade game?
Try to use your keys to start the game (I'm not sure anymore but it was about the keys ENTER, N and M that I have used to play the game).

Btw, I feel so helpless now, I wish I could stand next to you and help.

In the picture? You don't have to... at least not in the picture itself. Just walk around and find puzzles and hints

Look in room B1. Use the paper under the bed to solve the puzzle with the numbered squares.

If it's the one with the note under the bed make sure your putting the numbers in order according to the word.

The N and the M keys on your keyboard are associated with the buttons. If I remember correctly, the N button was associated with the red one

How can I play the Game in the Storage?

I pressed the keys Enter, N and M, but nothing passes. Can it be that these keys for the German keyboard are not valid?

It's difficult to tell from my memory, but maybe you need to do something else before you can...(?)
Or you do something wrong...(?) Did you click on the machine first, and then ENTER?

I don't remember in detail anymore what I had to do, but if you don't get it to work, save the game, and I'll replay a little later after finishing my moderation tasks.
Then I'll pay attention to that part, and might have an idea for you :)

I've restarted the game, and I think that you have to do some more puzzles before you can play the arcade game. If the screen of the arcade game is blurred, it's not ready yet.
You need to solve some puzzles, open parts of the chest with the keys that you collect, and read 2 journals.
When it's ready to play, the screen will be clear and sharp, then you will be able to use the ENTER key :)

It must look that clear, and the buttons must be in the foreground like this:

Yep, that's tricky.

You need to find a puzzle tile first, and if I remember correctly, probably also take a look at the picture with the landscape

If you do it correctly, the current will flow through it visibly.
If it didn't, maybe you need to check once again, if maybe one of the tiles is not correct yet.

Have you read the journal first? And looked at the picture?

If you have done everything necessary, the puzzle will show up :)

If you use the cheat method, you might be able to beat it even with 1 hand. It might take longer, but I think that it would be possible.

Look at the letters, they spell out a word. Click the numbers on the number box that correspond to the numbers that you need to get that word

This was a nice little game. I ike it when I can actually do the whole thing on my own.

I usually don't play the downloadable games. I typically play at work so I don't want to download huge files and play games that take over the whole screen. I liked that this was a quick download and popped up in a small window. Very nice.
