When you do it wrong, nothing happens, when you do it correctly, it says "Bravo!" in the middle :)

Was long time stucked on level 4. You have 8,3,5,2 and asked is 3
When I typed in:
8+3=11
-6=5
:2=2,5

I got a "Bravo for that but it isn't right!?

btw I done 23 just to check how hard it is and it's not geting any harder :wink:

anyone have a hint for number 3? It is the one where you have to get eight. I have no freaking clue what the ':' thing is. I'm good in mathematical equations, but I've never been good at ratios.

zappy, the ":" is just a division operator. It's the same as "/".

So... from the comments I take it, that the rules of association don't apply (instead you do left association all the way), and you don't need to get the exact integral value, just something that rounds to that number.

I tried number 7. Target was 8, and I got 8.33 (with the above rules), but no "bravo". ( (7/3)*4-1 )

I'm out. (Not in an escape-room way. As in I'm not playing)

Edit: (7*4)/3-1 = 8.33 worked. Strange.

The correct answer for lvl 4 is

6+2*3:8=3

For some reason this works for level three 5+6-7*2 I think I am done with this game. It seemed like it was following a "left to right" order of operation...but after this one and looking at the rest of the solutions people are getting ...I am just not sure. Perhaps we do not understand the rules, perhaps there is a random order of operation, or perhaps the maker of this game isn't very good at math?
