I am curious about it as well. Fanfari reminds me of the Dutch word fanfare which is a (street) orchestra in costume with brass instruments (like trumpets, trombones, flugelhorns, French horns/saxhorns, tubas, saxophones) and percussion instruments. In front of the orchestra walks a man with a staff (a baton). He leads the group and throws and twirls the staff in the air and catches it up.

well....there are four tipes- two are small and two are big (I play on allmost the biggest cuz I'm TALL!!!:haha:) the smaller look like a trumpet and the bigger remind me of a tuba! (but they don't sound like one!)

I played violin aaaages ago but I gave it up, I wish I could play a string instrument though.

pratic and learn the open notes first and dont only prastic when u know a few notes or cords go on you tube or something find a song you like that would be easy to do with a gutar and go for that im learning too and thats what my mom and dad says

I play trumpet 1 and sing an alto 2 voice part. I voted trumpet 1, though, because I've been on that more than an alto 2 vocal part (have been singing longer as a whole, though).

I play clarinet and sing, and I know a very small bit of classical guitar that my brother taught me, and a couple of right hand parts on the keyboard. Oh yeah! I also play steel pan, and I once played a bass clarinet - those things are hella heavy to hold and play at the same time.

Hi y'all,I just registered after lurking for some time,guess I can introduce myself here,since I've played drums for close to 40 years now.It's what I did for a living for many years.Spent a lot of time on the road,been on a few albums (no,you've never heard of 'em),now I just play at our local bar 1-2 times a month & private parties during the summer.

I also have a guitar I make noise on,it's waaaay to good for me,an '80s Martin HD28,we have a Yamaha studio piano & a mandolin she plays sometimes.

Here's me with my rare Ludwigs last summer at a show I do occasionally with some old friends
