1979, here. So don't feel bad. ;) And I know plenty that are older than both of us. We all have at least one thing in common....gaming. ;) And I know another teacher here, too. But I love your reason for avoiding them. :haha:

1986 - The release year of Dragon Quest in Japan. What many consider the beginning of the classic console RPG genre, and the first RPG I would play 5 years later. Since I couldn't read then I had my dad read it to me. This game solidified my fascination with the genre that I still hold today.
