I have screwdriver, trash can, hammer-used, glasses-used, flashlight thing. I think I have found 2 of the "writings" mentioned in the hint. Have found a credit card type item, but can't reach it. Can't open briefcase, box, or log onto computer.

EDIT: found piece of wood under door, got keycard, and found third "writing". got cutter-used, chainsaw-used, square piece of wood-used, key-used, piece of key?

what i found
hammer (used), glasses(used), wood(used), key card, bin, screwdriver and a flashlight (?)

edit : got the cutter, and then the electrical saw and cut the wood. got a piece of key from it

Can anyone help, please ? I have one space left in my inventory and have still to use the trash bin and the piece of key. Have been here for ages and can't pick up dice, trumpet or book and can't do anything with the mirror, drawer or briefcase. Should there be another piece of key somewhere ?

cannot use chainsaw (what wood??), one space left next to cutter, cannot do anything with pink key-piece(?)... cannot open drawer, cannot use screwdriver or flashlight

not_me, for your problems:
find the password for computer (with the question in the opening post, when did Edison invent the gramophone?), there you find something to open the briefcase and use the bin in there

and after i did what you said, i used the flashlight to reduce the size of the pink think that came off the briefcase

Highlight the saw and then click around the bookcase and you'll get a piece of wood. check the piece of wood and turn it around. Use screwdriver on it. Hope I helped a bit.

Click under the door and you get wood. The click the bottom left of the bookcase and use the wood to get the card.

I have trash can (used), screwdriver, hammer (used), card, flashlight (used), wooden stick (used) and key (used).

Need help, I can't get anything from the briefcase, and I can't find any other items.

Edit: I used trash can in briefcase, got pink thing, and used flashlight on it.

I used glasses on mirror. It is not necessary to escape, it probably just gives a clue, but if you do not speak the language, it means nothing.

Thanks, that helped a lot! I never would have thought to use the card there!

@chimark, use you need to use key card on middle desk drawer, then use the box cutter on what it is intended for.

well, I got key but it disappeared before I got to item to use it .. why? Just one of those days

Edit1: restarted and now I've all but first item in the last row. I've tried to demolish stuff with item from box - and nothing working.
Haven't used item 2 and 3 or the last item in the bottom row. Altered item #3
edit2: still no results .. well, did make coffee and pour a mug before clicking like crazy some more. Saw a hint which isn't working.

okay, so found that edison didn't invent the gramaphone, but he invented its predecessor in 1878 but this doesn't work as a password :S
